Digital Skills will unleash the creativity, innovation and the boundless imagination of the most productive segment of our society – the Youth.

This is the story of Letty Edet, Oseni Wasiu Olawale, Faidat Yusuf who represent many emerging success stories of the OSSAP-SDGs Digital Skills For Africa Training. These individuals represent the new entrants into the Digital Economy: using technology to promote and market their goods and services, earn a reasonable income, create jobs and diversify the Nigeria Economy.

With over 125,000 youths trained nationwide by OSSAP-SDGs, the level of awareness of the opportunities in Digital Technology has increased. A growing number of the trainees are jumpstarting their careers leveraging Digital Skills based on Goal 8: Target 1 & 2 of the SDGs.

Also, a number of the Trainees are going through different online certifications to become Digital Strategists who will be profiled online to engage Small and Medium-Scale Businesses across every sector to digitize their operations thus bringing efficiency and sustainability while making them easily accessible to their target markets”

As part of efforts to improve the living conditions of people as well as ensure the safety and resilience of people affected by insurgency, the Office of the Senior Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals, OSSAP-SDGs, has delivered 300 housing units of two-bedroom each and other livelihood enhancing infrastructures at two Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs camps in Borno State.
